Types of Information Warfare

Martin Libicki of the National Defense University, Institute for National Strategic Studies proposes in his book, What is Information Warfare? that IW is not in itself the technique but rather there are seven forms of IW. They are: Command and Control Warfare, Intelligence-Based Warfare, Electronic Warfare, Psychological Warfare, Hacker Warfare, Economic Information Warfare, and Cyberwarfare.
